Italian Cheesy Pasta

Italian Cheesy Pasta

I'm sure everyone loves Mac & Cheese, but there are different types of Mac & Cheese. This particular dish was my own creation because I love the taste of Fettuccine Alfredo but it's so very high in calories that I wanted to try something a little more light albeit not fat free!


Ingredients:
1 lb. penne
Pinch of salt
2 c skim milk or Lactate Milk
3 tbsp flour
½ c Parmigiano Regiano
Pepper to taste
1 c skim milk shredded mozzarella
      Place penne in boiling water and cook for recommended time. You may add the pinch of salt in the pot. In the meantime, combine skim milk and flour in large skillet. Warm this mixture till the consistency is a little thick, stirring all the while. Then add your cooked pasta. Now, include the Parmigiano Regiano. Place the pasta into a greased baking dish, add the pepper and top with shredded mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees till the top is lightly browned, about ten minutes or so. No need to have anything else with this dinner except a wonderful glass of red wine.
